Dependence

This piece is my reinterpretation of/homage to jamSTAR's "I depend on you", a piece whose simplicity and ambiguity attracted attention and generated discussion (both positive and negative) on Twitter and other social media platforms. Here, Fritz and Soleil's embrace is captioned "we depend on each other", diverging from the original title but maintaining the ambiguity.
In creating this piece, I drew from public information posters of the 1960s and 1970s, especially those issued in the United Kingdom - I found it fitting for a piece themed around mutual dependence among peers. The shapes are made entirely from straight lines and parts of circles to preserve the austere nature of both the original piece and the poster designs that influenced my interpretation.
